This mural was installed shortly into the Covid-19 Pandemic. It is a depiction of local Chicago musician, and champion of the artist community: Jeff Tweedy. The building (at time of installation) was slated to be the future site of now defunct legendary Wicker Park venue - Double Door. The signage pays homage to Double Door’s iconic Wicker Park signage, and their move to the Uptown neighborhood. Live music was largely cancelled in 2020 from the month of March through the end of the year.

This mural was installed during the civil unrest of 2020. It depicts Harriet Tubman on the $20 bill. Harriet Tubman is just one of millions of inspirational, strong and groundbreaking black women.
